What is learning online with Tunas.ai like?
Children aged 8–13 learn live with a professional teacher in a small group. They can ask questions, share ideas, and make creative projects with Gaia. Teachers guide each activity while encouraging children to think and explain ideas for themselves.
What will my child need at home?
A laptop or computer, a stable internet connection, and a working microphone and camera. Find a comfortable place to learn; our team will explain the platform and any other requirements before class.
How can we join the first online batch?
Start a conversation on WhatsApp to join the waitlist or ask about an online trial. Online classes launch in November 2026. Our team will confirm scheduling options, group size, and session length. We’ll also explain the fees before you decide to enroll.

What is Tunas.ai?
Tunas.ai is an AI literacy and safety programme for children aged 8–13. We offer teacher-led classes in Jakarta and are expanding online in November 2026, alongside Gaia — our own AI learning platform. The focus is thinking, not memorising.
Is Tunas.ai just ChatGPT for kids?
No. Tunas is not ChatGPT. Gaia is a purpose-built AI platform with multiple layers of child-safety guardrails. Every message passes through our safety guardrail before reaching your child, and every response is checked before your child sees it. Children never touch raw AI.
What age is Tunas.ai for?
Children aged 8 to 13. Every child starts at Level 1, AI Explorer. A short conversation confirms fit and places your child in the right cohort.
How big are the classes and how long is a session?
Offline classes have a maximum of 5 children, with a teacher in the room alongside Gaia. Regular offline sessions are 90 minutes for AI Explorer and AI Creator, and 120 minutes for AI Thinker and AI Leader. The free offline trial is 60 minutes. Online group size and session length will be confirmed separately by our team.
How long does the whole programme take?
Four levels over 12 months, with three months at each level: AI Explorer, AI Creator, AI Thinker, and AI Leader. The programme covers 72 sessions plus Demo Day across six terms. Families join level by level.
Won’t my child become dependent on AI to do everything?
Gaia never gives the answer. Using the Socratic method she leads children with questions until they figure it out themselves. They build thinking muscles, not shortcuts.
Won’t AI stop my child from thinking and learning deeply?
The whole curriculum is built around questioning AI — spotting bias, verifying facts, and reasoning through problems. Children learn AI as a tool to think with, not for.
How does Tunas.ai protect my child from deepfakes and fake news?
Two layers of guardrails screen every message in and out before your child ever sees it. The platform was built by a cybersecurity expert with more than 15 years protecting Indonesian enterprises and government. Children also learn to spot deepfakes and AI mistakes themselves.
Where are Tunas.ai classes held in Jakarta?
Two locations: Kika Kids Club in Puri Indah, Jakarta Barat, and The Idea Nest at Belleza, Permata Hijau, Jakarta Selatan. Trial classes run at The Idea Nest.
How do I book a trial class?
For an offline trial, complete the form on the trial page. We’ll contact you on WhatsApp to arrange a class at The Idea Nest, Belleza. For an online trial, visit Online Classes and contact our team to confirm the online schedule, format, and requirements.
What will my child actually learn?
AI Explorer: understand AI, stay safe, and ask better questions. AI Creator: create stories, art, websites, games, and apps. AI Thinker: investigate real problems, test solutions, and launch them. AI Leader: develop a venture and present a working product at Demo Day. The sample curriculum above gives examples of activities and projects.
How will I know what my child is doing in class?
